Another structure that I was previously unaware of: the Victory Peace Monument. Sitting at the bottom of Coronation Park beside Lake Ontario, the monument was unveiled to the public on November 14, 1995. It commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and was built in honour of those who died in battle.
