Now in its third year, the Toronto Light Festival showcases local and international artists who make creations with light. The Light Festival takes place in the Distillery District, so there's already a lot of charm and character in the location. According to the Light Festival's web site, the purpose of the Festival is to "lift the collective spirit of the City. In a world with so many dark and ominous messages, our goal is to create a positive, magical urban oasis where people of all ages and backgrounds could and would enjoy together".
I took these shots a on a freezing cold February night, but the experience was worth a little numbing of the limbs.
