I arrived in the west to be greeted with cool temperatures and lots of snow for the time of year. It was a short but eventful trip this year - in addition to the usual family visiting, Ivan and Carol hosted their farm equipment auction sale during my stay, and Norma, Karen and I had an interesting time in the "ghost hamlet" of Rowley, Alberta. On the way back from Rowley we stopped at Trochufor lunch before making our way back to Red Deer.
