Urban Photography Toronto - Marvin

Urban Photography Toronto

The emphasis in this workshop was on composition and being creative using various photographic methods, mostly involving motion in the city. We started out at the Metropolitan United Church on Queen Street for some architectural shots, then made our way along Richmond Street. At the busy intersection of Richmond Street and Yonge Street we used neutral density filters to make pedestrians seemingly fade or "disappear", then moved on to the Cloud Gardens for more long exposure photography on the urban waterfall. We later practised focus tracking on fast moving vehicles before moving into the Eaton Centre for people and design shots.
