It had been many, many years since I'd been to Drumheller. In fact, my last memory of a Badlands visit is a field trip on the bus when in grade school. Many things have changed since then and the town has now grown and is extremely geared towards tourism. It appears people now come from many parts of the world to visit Drumheller. There is an abundance of fascinating things to see and experience in the Badlands area. I was only able to stay for two days on this trip and the weather wasn't the best, being mid-October in Alberta, but I made the most of my short stay. Despite the cold, cloudy and rainy weather I came away with a few good shots. Hopefully there will be a second trip in the future, preferably during more favourable weather!
