Calton Hill is a hill in central Edinburgh which is, among other things, the home to iconic Edinburgh buildings and monuments such as the National Monument, the Nelson Monument, the Dugald Stewart Monument, the old Royal High School, the Robert Burns Monument, the Political Martyrs' Monument and the City Observatory. Although we didn't get to see all of these structures, we thoroughly enjoyed the ones we did see. The view from Calton Hill is also spectacular and we were able to see many of the places and buildings we had visited during our stay in Edinburgh.
