As mentioned in the previous gallery, there are two halves to Highgate Cemetery – the East and the West. The public are allowed in the West Cemetery only as part of a guided tour, which runs every half-hour or so. The West Cemetery is a designated Grade II in Britain, meaning it’s a protected and preserved entity. One of the more famous tombs in the West Cemetery is that of George Michael, but it is currently off-limits to the public.
